However, PROOF just crossed my desk that, in his youth, Jimi Hendrix was a virtuoso Banjo player long before he ever aspired to become a guitarist. Also looks like he was tapping there. Guess Jimi was in the forefront of Farm Aid and finger tapping long before we had thought.
