We're in at Buca.

There's only 13 people on the list right now; but we always seem to get a few more, so I made it for 16 people at 7:30.

I can always cancel it if something else comes up...

I just PM'd Phil about this thread. Perhaps we should also post a topic linking to this dinner thread in Craig's forum to let the other cool forum regulars who aren't actually keyboard players know what's up.

Dave, what do you say?

Since I seem to have nabbed real estate near the top of the page, I'll post again the details of our dinner:

Dave, what do you say?

We probably should have thought about this before I made the reservation... ;)

No problem....that's the great beauty of Buca - whatever size the party turns out to be, they can accommodate it. :thu:

I'm in just let me know when...

So Dave, now that I have diabetes and can't eat the pasta anymore, maybe this time I will eat the meat platter!!

Seriously, what the f*ck with the candles? Where does this candle impulse come from, and in what other profession does it get expressed?

Cool.

By the way, I've modified my post near the top of this page to include date, time, and venue contact details for our upcoming dinner. I also included a link to last year\'s dinner recap with photos for those who'd like to go down memory lane. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing you all again! :thu:

Well, if it isn't too late, I'd love to attend. I'm still up in the air about what EQ is going to have me doing at the show, but so far, I have no evening appointments, so Friday evening should be fine for me.

I'll probably be alone, but I may have someone with me... I'll let you know ASAP dB. Oh and BTW, I need to talk to you about something else anyway... I'll call you on Monday.

Thanks for thinking about me Geoff.

Where have you been?
I've been a busy boy. The time I used to spend online, I now spend commuting To and From Yamaha.

Before I worked out of the house.

Sorry for beeing such a stranger. I'll make a resolution to pop in more..

Up in the air? At the last minute? Waiting for marching orders from CMP? That's so unlike them.:P

Me too. Although it sounds like it's getting cozy, so I know I gotta figure it out soon.

Guys, sorry to be the late arriver to the party, and I know I just registered today (followed a link on SonikMatter), but is there room for me plus a guest?

Mike Martin can vouch that I won't strip naked, jump on the table, and start doing funny things to a watermelon. ...at least I think he can.

Dave Bryce and Steve Fortner don't know me well enough...not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...

Not unless I increase the reservation again (which is no problem).

We've never had someone who isn't a participating member of the forum (or wasn't before today, anyway) want to come to one of the forum dinners before, unless they came as someone's guest...

However, you're more than welcome - any friend of Mike Martin's is a friend of mine. I'll bump the reservation tomorrow. :thu:

Well I can't make the dinner as I'll still be here in Seattle this year. Next year...

But in a way I'm there. If anyone is interested in bleeding edge IEEE 1394 chip technologies they can check out the Wavefront Semiconductor booth. Their using two of my tracks "Butterflied Eyes" and "Pillars of Versailles" in their demo for their DICE II chip .

Have a great dinner and Bon Appetite everyone!

Thanks for your acceptance -- I'll try to get my usable post count above 10 before the show :)

No problem at all, Chuck. Glad you'll be able to make it! :thu:

We're at 24 now - I just called Buca and bumped the reservation to 28 to be safe. I know at least two other people who will probably come, but haven't committed yet.
