zeronyne
It'll bounce, but it won't fall apart. Even a double X will bounce a bit. "For instance" is not proof.
theplayer
I was thinking of something like that or this, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29552&item=3770001078&rd=
tarkus
I used an x stand and it was pretty sturdy but aesthetically unpleasing. It was better than lugging around my Ultimate Apex 2-tier for a single board gig. I wouldn't go cheap on a stand for a KB that retails for $2500. Just make sure it will get all the way to standing height. "For instance" is not proof.
gangsu
I think theplayer mentioned his setup was for home studio only. Unless you guys stand all the time? Must be a guy thing! "........! 88keys4me
My S90 weights 52 lbs and sits securely on a QuikLok W550 (http://www.8thstreet.com/product.asp?ProductCode=4056&Category=Keyboard_Accessories) No bounce at all, lots more room under the board than X-type stands, and it's a snap to set up and take down. Lightweight too. You can definitely get it for less than the price at 8th Street or other retailers.
Song80s
don't waste your $ on the first choice. That stand is not enough support for a heavy workstation like the Extreme 76 Why fit in, when you were born to stand out ?
