Tedster Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 My kids listen to KC's "96.5 the buzz"...allegedly "alternative" radio station. They play all the Hoobastank, Good Charlotte, stuff like that. Over and over again. I don't know who this freaking song is by, but it ends with the "singer" wailing a phrase that sounds like "You were alright" over and over and OVER AND OVER again...I haven't a clue as to who it's by, but it's one of the most annoying pieces of crap I've heard. AUGHGHGHGHG...of course the station won't say who it's by, and they won't answer their phone either. Just had to get this off my chest. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Hippie Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Is that the 'new' Nirvana song? (I kinda like it. :o ) In two days, it won't matter.
Steve LeBlanc Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Oh...I thought this was in reference to the 867-5309 thread...I can't get that freaking song to stop playing in my head now....ARRRRGGHHHH...MAKE IT STOP!!! http://www.youtube.com/notesleb
Jotown Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Hey Salma, Where is your picture? (sans mono brow) Jotown:) "It's all good: Except when it's Great"
Oiled Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Hey Jotown. I asked Ashley why I can't put my picture up, and she said I need a certain number of posts to my credit before I have that ability. Any idea on how many it takes? Salma
KHAN Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 I don't know how many it takes, but please start posting a lot. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..... :D So Many Drummers. So Little Time...
patrick_dont_fret Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Ah, you're thinking of "You Know You're Right" by Nirvana. Not really a new song, but an oldie that's just being released with their "Greatest Hits" album, so to speak. I like a lot of Nirvana's stuff, but this song does get on my nerves quite a bit.
RABid Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Relax ... Close your eyes ... You are sitting in a quiet place ... Birds are chirping outside ... The wind blows through a crack in the window... Rain begins to fall on the roof ... Sounds of nature fill your mind ... Someone turns on the TV ... Here's a story ... Of a man named Brady ... Sorry, that was mean. Think of beaches and oceans. Palm trees and sunshine. Anyone remember the lyrics to Gilligan's Island? Robert This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page
Oiled Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Will do KHAN, although I kind of prefer this shot.
Jotown Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 To answer your question, it takes a hundred posts. Nice shot by the way. Jotown:) "It's all good: Except when it's Great"
Tedster Posted November 21, 2002 Author Posted November 21, 2002 Could be. Come to think of it, there is something Cobainish about it. Probably is...in which case it's no wonder it wasn't released earlier. Cobain's probably stirring in his urn over it. I like a lot of Nirvana's stuff, but not this. It's just plain fricking annoying. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Bunny Knutson Posted November 21, 2002 Posted November 21, 2002 Tedster, you know you're right. ;) Actually, I like that song, but that just goes to show what horrendous taste in music I have. :D https://bunny.bandcamp.com/ https://theystolemycrayon.bandcamp.com/
patrick_dont_fret Posted November 21, 2002 Posted November 21, 2002 Makes you think what kind of clothes dBunny wears, then.
