RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking AWESOME this year. As long as Tony Siragusa (sorry, mojo 'n dano) doesn't fall on Mr. Gannon again, my boys are gonna be tough to beat!

Jerry Rice! Trace Armstrong! I am way psyched.

Steve L, you and I are gonna need to be hangin' on Sundays, my brother......

I dunno, Geoff. I think I like it better with no team here. We always get the best games on TV this way - we're not locked into having to watch any one team every week.

I think it's kinda cool...

No we don't, we are stuck watching Raider(yuck), 49er(boring), Viking(Randy Moss is a pussy), or Cowboy(suck) games.

Dave, it's an admirable quality to look at the bright side. However, while TV may be better, I miss trekking down to Anaheim to see the Rams play in person.

Of course, I could understand if you didn't miss going to the Coliseum much, as a Raiders fan. I would go there for Broncos games (yes, I'm also a Broncos fan, having spent much of the 80s gigging in Denver), and I often felt like I was taking my life in my hands cheering for the Broncos there.

(BTW, I also studied conducting and orchestration at nearby USC during the summer of '79 and I never felt safe leaving my dorm room at night in that neighborhood. It was so bad, they even used to buss USC students to Westwood to party on weekend nights! Obviously, there were no busses taking UCLA students to party near USC!)

I also find it pretty embarrassing, as an L.A. resident, that we can't get it together and have an NFL franchise here! What have we got, fifteen million people or so residing here in the Southland and we can't fill a stadium? Sad!
