what CD-ROM can't you live without? (for K2500)

What's is the one CD-ROM you can't live without?

I recently bought a K2500RS with plenty RAM and it's time to pick up a few good CD-ROM libraries. I already have Kurzweil's Take 6 (unbelievable!) and Power Tools.

I'm considering getting Spectrasonics' Liquid Grooves and Bass Legends - is anyone using these? What about Sampleheads Peter Erskine and the Will Lee discs (though not native format)? I could use recommendations for Kurzweil format CD-ROM guitars (w/loops), horns, and orchestral collections. I know I can use Akai format libraries, but I'm looking to do as little "tweaking" as possible.

thanks

Wizoo's Magnetica!

But I'm not into loop orientated music. I need good pianos. Check my homepage for a litte K2x00 sample (a Solina), some Kurzprogs that use the Magnetica Rhodes samples and some Kurzweil tips in german.

Have you tried sonikmatter.com for more info about native Kurzweil sounds?

If you look for drums I think you should have a look at Sweetwaters Total stereo session drums.

Very good!!

Does the Sweetwater Drums CD-ROM contain hits only, or loops also?

I've heard good comments about their guitars library also - is anyone using it?

I have that CD-ROM - I don't think it has any loops on it - just kits. They are, in fact, spectacular samples.

If it's the one by Jim Miller (who did the drums disc we're talking about, and a bunch of other stuff for Sweetwater as well) called Ultimate Guitars, then yes, I have that disc too, and it is also outstanding. Everything you'd want, and more...

Jim does amazing work. I highly recommend his stuff.
