stratman_dup1 Posted July 12, 2001 Share Posted July 12, 2001 I just have to take a minute to give a good crisp military salute to our most extremely excellent forum moderator Mr Craig Anderton. I posted a link to a thread on the Keyboard Corner that had to deal with a paralyzed pianist that needed an alternate damper pedal controller because his (I assume) legs would not function enough to work a standard damper pedal on a digital piano anymore. While many tried to help, no one was able to come up with a usable solution, until Craig made an appearance that is. Within hours of my informing Mr Anderton of the situation he not only answered the post with a usable solution, he also gave several other variations that would work and PROVIDED DIAGRAMS EXPLAINING HOW TO BUILD THE DEVICE!!! And all of this, the time spent on the diagrams and the post not too mention the expertise he brought to the table, was done for no other reason than to help out another human being with a problem he knew an answer to. Craig, people like you give me new hope for the human race, may the goodness you so freely give be returned to you a thousand times over. Phil W.
