Favourite websites

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Do you have some favorite websites besides musicplayer.com ? I wonder are there (m)any websites like this one or is this simply the best?

I visited mercenary.com this morning and I really like the story's on 'blotter' from Walther E.Sear and Steve Albini.

Also like this work of art Fletcher made "shit on a stick" very much, although I think some people just hate it!

Maybe I have a strange sense of humor, dunno.

Peace.

It's sometimes fun to read the \"I Love Music\" message board .

The folks there have got me interested in searching out some new music...

But the musicplayer.com forums are the best, no doubt about it! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif

There's certainly lots of sites - prorec, recording.org, R.A.P. etc. but I think you've already found the best site on the Internet of this nature.

The only other site I spend as much time on is a product specific email group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AW4416 - it's for the Yamaha AW4416 and AW2816 workstations. We've got over 10,000 posts since August 2000, and a great community. Outside of that, this is the main place I hang out.

It's not humerous, unless you read the "missed connections" section, but www.craigslist.org is the best thing since sliced bread. They started in the Bay Area and have sites based in a bunch of cities now. Craig Newmark is the guy who started it, and he is a very socially responsible individual. They have turned down lots of $ and buy out bids durring the dot com boom to remain bannerless and free. The best resource for buying, selling, finding a job or car or apartment in your area.

This is the way things should work on the 'net.
