20to20
Hey All, Could someone compile a list of all of the completed songs (titles & team names) so that I am sure that I have everything... Also, I don't mind coming up with the CD's sequence of songs, based on the sonic "flow" from one to the next... But I was thinking it may be more democratic (no apparent favoritism) if we put them in alphabetical order (by song title)... Or I could throw some I Ching coins... What do you all think...? Thanks, Bob Phillips 20to20soundesign

DanS
Hi Bob, Dave Bryce over at the Keyboard Corner did the song sequencing for the latest collab CD, and let his ears and the mood of the songs dictate the order. Go with the flow, ma brutha. What we record in life, echoes in eternity. MOXF8, Electro 6D, XK1c, Motif XSr, PEKPER, Voyager, Univox MiniKorg. https://www.abandoned-film.com
flyscots
I agree (not just because both our songs begin with S! ) I'd prefer it if you compiled the CD as you felt fit. It will be a better listen that way.
ani
I'll list them in alphabetical order... Answers in the Rain - SOMA Bunny's Beat - GOR Empty Words - B_3guy's Team (did they ever come up with a team name? En Transit - SOMA Gods of Rock - GOR Howls at the Moon - SOMA Seasick - Fantasy League Managers Team Strip Down - Doublepost Wasn't Doublepost working on another team song as well, or Fly were you referring to the 2 song you were working on being Seasick? 20to20
Thanks for the list so far, Ani... BTW, I didn't find the FL folder at the FTP site... Is it in a different spot than the SOMA folders...? __________ At this point, I have WAVs for the first 2 SOMA tunes and for (B3's Team) Empty Words... Oh, and I'll sequence the CD "by feel"... However if any team would like a favorable $pot, I'm not above taking bribe$... $ $ $ ____________ Thank$, Bob Bob Phillips 20to20soundesign
Johnny Bitch
Put them in the order that you feel makes the CD sound best. Whatever that may be.

Yeah, I was think that "We are" was in the title but I dropped the W to go to the G for better placement alphabetically.

20to20
All kidding aside, I think that it's important for all the song titles, credits, (incl. team & individual names) to be correct and accurately presented on the final graphics (whether that's online, etc. or in print)... Perhaps minimal but adequate credits on the CD package art, but complete and detailed credits (and photos, etc) that would be on a dedicated website along with (full- or preview-length) mp3's of the songs... So before we get to the graphics design phase, all the teams should assemble & proof-read their own "stats", before they send them off to designer... BTW, who is gonna do the graphics work for our burgeoning CD project...? Bob Bob Phillips 20to20soundesign
ani
"(We Are) The Gods of Rock " this is the way Bunny posted the link to the file for listening. I wasn't really joking when I posted the original list. I thought the file that I downloaded said Gods of Rock, but that may have been the team name that I made mental note of. I don't mind doing artwork, web design, and graphics.... but then again, I don't want to be hoggish about what all I contribute. I have all the tools to do the job.... I put up files for vox on AITR for Dan tonight and he said he thinks it's a good take.... Also, I have completed the vox for Seasick... if Fly likes the final..... so I'll be freeing up a bit to work on those web pages that I've collected photos for our team member.
