flyscots
Yep, thousands of Royal Mail postal workers have gone on strike in the UK. The strikes are mainly in London, where up to 20,000 Royal Mail staff have taken a stance due to a number of disputes. The strikes quickly spread across the country. If you want more info, see here. "So how does this affect you?" I hear you cry. Well, I'm on dial-up. I'm in a rural area where cable etc doesnt even exist! Dial-up is the only way to get online. So...Double Post members uploaded their tracks to Rim's ftp site, he then downloaded them, burned them to CD and sent them to me by way of the flying snail. I havent recieved the CD(s) yet. Granted, I'm nowhere near London, but all international mail goes to London first. Thanks to the strike, next to NOTHING is moving in London. The backlog is going to be terrible, even when the strike is over (no idea when that will be) it could take weeks to get back to normal. So, the point is, our files are stuck in London and I have no idea when I will get them. Sorry for yet another delay.... John
flyscots
I should update anyone who cares. The strike is over and I have the files. After a bit of SONAR trouble everything's fine. I have the tracks sounding good together and they now await the vocals - coming soon.
