soapbox
Craig, is there any way that we can bring the old SSS Archives back to this active forum. It seems like the topic count SSS can handle is much larger than once thought, and it would be nice to be able to bump some oldies but goodies back to the front page again. Is this doable without Rob around? Thanks, Geoff Enthusiasm powers the world. Craig Anderton's Archiving Article

Philip OKeefe
Geoff, I just went in search of posts on the old digital / analog 3 head machine / digital trick, and didn't come up with any... although I know we've discussed it several times in the past. But I did come across some old "Terry James" threads. Some things should be LEFT buried! ;)
soapbox
It seems like there's a joke somewhere in all of this about LA not valuing the past, but I'm not creative enough to come up with one! ;) Enthusiasm powers the world. KHAN
Geoff, you could always start a new thread, and post a link to the archived thread if you want to renew an old topic. :) Just a  :D So Many Drummers. So Little Time...

FoxTick
ok since we're thread dredging, i thought i'd go out and dredge up the oldest thread i could find . 0096 2251 2110 8105
Anderton
The KHAN Technique is the way to go. I no longer can access the part that let me move files around, it's lost somewhere in Cyberspace. You know, those science fiction stories of the ghost ship on autopilot that continues to roam the galaxy seems eerily appropriate here... Philip OKeefe
The "Hoover thread" is probably the all time #1 classic! :thu: Occasionally, I refer particularly obnoxious people to this thread (reply #3): http://www.musicplayer.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=003316 It's the one (and only) time I resorted to giving out a USMC quality a$$ chewing online. ;) But the funniest part for me is when Mats called me "Fletcher"! :D

It was in defense of an unwarranted attack someone else (and not on me) and 3. to show that, while I normally DON'T use that language, it doesn't mean that I don't know how to do so. ;) Believe me, anyone who's been around the Marine Corps all their life definitely knows HOW.
