Rocky McDougall
I have always liked Gary Sinise as an actor, now I like him even more. Right up there with Keanu Reeves. Rocky McDougall
Keanu must be great, he has his own band. Not that there is anything wrong with that !! tnb
I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Keanu's band (Dogstar, I believe), very solid player. Maybe we should try and get a couple of these guys to post here at the Lowdown.
_Sweet Willie_
Dustin Diamond (a.k.a., Screech in "Saved by the Bell") is also a bassist. His band is named something like Salty the Pocketknife. Malcolm Jamal Warner (from "The Cosby Show" and "Malcolm and Eddie") is apparently no slouch on the bass himself. I think he gigs around the NYC area. Don't we have a celeb bassists thread somewhere? Peace. --SW spreadluv Fanboy? Why, yes! Nordstrand Pickups and Guitars. Messiaen knew how to parlay the funk.

ZZ Thorn
I'm driving to Little Rock tomorrow for work - non-bass related. But I will be practicing there. http://www.myspace.com/themoustachioed
GTRBass
I rehearse at a studio in Hollywood where Malcom's band Miles Long rehearses occasionally too. They sometimes use the same room we do after we're done in there. He's a really nice guy and plays both upright and electric. He's a very good player and sort of into Marcus Miller and Gerald Veasley. The guy is a serious player. The band is like hip hop meets, funk, with some Jazz & R&B influences. I did a show with Dogstar in Las Vegas 9 years ago. Can't speak for his ability now, but then Keanu sucked royally. The Lt. Dan band is a cover band that does charity benefits and USO tours. Gary is a decent average player who can hold down a groove. He won't win any awards for chops, but he doesn't suck. It's a hobby band that he uses for fundraising events. More power to him.
