Indeedliest. There are Legends, and then there are those that populate that strata of Olympian, Asgardian Ideal. Vai and Fripp are certainly ensconced in such a pantheon. I note that Vai's adaptation of Fripp's riff in "Thela Hun Ginjeet" is subtly yet decidedly 'Bluesier', despite omitting only one note and having a pretty similar beat and phrasing. His talk of working with Roland- and Adrian Belew- on guitar synth patches and custom guitars and all, is interesting and speaks volumes of this undertaking. This is gonna be one Hell of a concert tour!
