Ewilson
I’m new to this forum . I have no sound on half the keyboard on my Hammond SK1 - from middle C down on the keys. Has anyone else had this issue. I would appreciate any help.
Baldwin Funster
Sometimes in Hammonds a ribbon cable can be unseated and do stuff like that. Try to open it up and push the ribbon cables down. 1 Quote FunMachine.
CEB
You have probably already done this but … make sure you are not in split mode with no sound set to the lower manual. 2 Quote "It doesn't have to be difficult to be cool" - Mitch Towne "A great musician can bring tears to your eyes!!! AnotherScott
Just now, CEB said: You have probably already done this but … make sure you are not in split with no sound set to the lower manual. You beat me to it! That was my first thought as well, since C is the default split point. If that's not it, to narrow things down, one could try altering the split point and seeing if the location of the problem moves accordingly. 2 Quote Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! D. Gauss
Are you in a band with a bass player? Can he look you in the eye, or does he look guilty of possibly doing something bad to your rig? 😉
jejefunkyman
Just try to do a factory reset and see if that solves the problem.
Ewilson
Thank you. I have tried the factory reset and the split mode. That didn’t work.
stoken6
Do you have another MIDI keyboard/device (even a DAW)? Check if all keys transmit MIDI. Cheers, Mike.
ProfD
Check the Zone and MIDI template settings.😎 1 Quote PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E. Ahbez "Nature Boy"
jpgxk3
Maybe you are in split mode and the lower drawbar selection is blank? All zeros? Look at the upper lower pedals display and try changing the settings with correct selected switches; upper left corner of the organ.
