Good news for Arranger keyboard players...

Recommended Posts

Greetings all. I realize the Music Player Keyboard Forum consists mainly of seasoned keyboard musicians from all walks of life. Guys and Gals from all over the world. Most of you use traditional workstations, Acoustic Pianos, Stage Pianos, Organs, B3 clone keyboards from Hammond, Yamaha (YC series), Roland, Synthesizers from Yamaha, Roland, Korg, Kurzweil, etc.  But there are some registered users and visitors who browse the forums who no doubt also use alternative methods for making/playing music, and perhaps also for gigging purposes, either part-time or full time. Arranger keyboards are one such option. I just discovered that Yamaha will release the Genos2 arranger keyboard on November 15, 2023. If interested, you can read about it at the link below. Depending on how much Yamaha improved the Genos2 vs. the Genos will be a key factor on whether to upgrade or not. It won't be cheap, that I can tell you. $$$$ 😁

I'm just here to steal knowledge from the seasoned keyboard musos.

I am an arranger keyboard user.   These 2 facts are just a coincidence.

But seriously I do enjoy using my Yamaha arranger.  It meets my current requirements enough that I haven't felt compelled to buy a Genos or the next highest end PSR-SX900.  Review is posted here:

Whoever made the thumbnail photo for the video has no idea what black keys are on a keyboard.

“Just space the black ones out anywhere”.
