Gord -B
There is a placebo song called 'the bitter end' as well. Derek Smalls: It's like fire and ice, basically. I feel my role in the band is to be somewhere in the middle of that, kind of like lukewarm water. http://www.myspace.com/gordonbache

Tedster
Uhmmm...yeah, there's a song I wrote with that title. It's on the web. I still have a bit of cleaning up to do with it...(namely the intro vocals are a bit out of key) which should be an easy fix. Just haven't gotten around to it. If you think that might be the song...give me a holler. At the risk of the Viking Spam Patrol flogging me severely...it's at http://tedster.net/bitterend.mp3 "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

lakeside studios
You do know that Placebo aren't the real thing, don't you? And that Placebo Domingo, they just put him there to make you THINK you're watching Opera. Big Hat. No Cattle. http://www.theshrinks.com/
Tedster
HA! Over here they have a cable station called "Arts". Not "Arts and Entertainment"...that's a different station. This one is just called "Arts". And I couldn't believe it, they had music videos...really off-the-wall ones. The first one was a Flamenco guitarist...really cool. But the second one blew me away...picture watching a video for OPERA! It was way bizarre, some soprano...and the weirdest thing, they had ENGLISH SUBTITLES!!! Yup, a translation. And you know what I discovered? The lyrics for opera are REALLY DUMB. I mean wayyyyy stoooopid. (Diva): "(some really long Italian phrase)" (Subtitle): It's a sunny day. (Diva): "(another really long Italian phrase)" (Subtitle): And I'm so happy (Diva): "(a reeeeeeally long Italian phrase)" (Subtitle): Because I'm getting married. ACCCHHHHHH...And to think I always thought opera was so highbrow... "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
