linwood
Great Job. You were in the right place at the right time. You must have looked like a superhero until you asked the young girl at the register, " Is this enough toilet paper for this amount of cat food?" YourMotherShouldKnow
Glad you managed to stop the bloodshed, weasel. It's amazing how much misery can be avoided through a small act of kindness. And how much damage can be caused by a small amount of malice. If you woulda been killed/maimed in this then we'd be having a different conversation. But, as Walter says in the Big Lebowski, "Fuck it, Dude. Let's go bowling."
Tedster
We know, from reading science fiction, that that kid will grow up to become the next Hitler...and you could have stopped him, but noOOOooo...the future fate of the world is in your hands... Nah, I'm just messin' witcha... you did great! "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

Anderton
I don't want to belittle the actual saving of the child, because that was one life you saved...very cool. But if that child had died, think of how many people would have been affected by the tragedy. The mother would never have forgiven herself, the driver would have had to live with killing someone, the family would have been devastated, they all would have been haunted for the rest of their lives. You saved those people, too. Odyssian
Jeff, you ought to (at the very least) buy a "beverage of your choice". Heck, everyone needs a pat on the back... even you superhero types!
fantasticsound
One of the most beloved, Jewish sayings is, "Save one life and you save the whole world." I think Craig elaborated on that sentiment excellently. Great job, Jeff. From one father of a young child to another, I know you know that you were already a hero to another little boy... Heroes Paul Overstreet He drives into the city works extra hard all day He finishes up early so he can get away Cause there's a blue eyed kid on second base Wants dad to watch him play Daddy knows he's waiting so he hurries on his way Cause you know heroes come in every shape and size Making special sacrifices for others in their lives No one gives 'em medals the world don't know their names But in someone's eyes they're heroes just the same She rocks her crying baby in the hours before dawn She whispers words of hope to help her husband to hold on She takes time with the children making sure they know she cares She's more than just mama she's the answer to their prayers Cause you know heroes come in every shape and size Making special sacrifices for others in their lives No one gives 'em medals the world don't know their names But in someone's eyes they're heroes just the same Now I don't pretend to know you but I bet it's safe to say Someone out there somewhere's looking up to you today They see everything you do except for your mistakes You may not think you measure up but you've got all it takes Cause you know heroes come in every shape and size Making special sacrifices for others in their lives No one gives 'em medals the world don't know their names But in someone's eyes their heroes just the same No one gives 'em medals the world don't know their names But in someone's eyes they're heroes just the same Yeah in someone's eyes they're heroes just the same Ordinary heroes... Special kind of heroes.. It's easiest to find me on Facebook. Neil Bergman Soundclick fntstcsnd
