Had an abcessed molar that went freaky. Basically, I have a cavity in the tooth that burrowed it's way into the root, out of the skull, causing a massive infection in the flesh over my cheek bone. Some of it actually got into my eye-socket & screwed up my vision for a while. I feel damn lucky that this part of it has been reversed. Just had my first of three surgical procedures last week to remove some of the dead flesh. After it has healed for a about a month, I'll be having a repeat procedure. Stage three will be reconstruction. I'm also in the process of setting up oral surgery to have four teeth removed. I do take care of my teeth - even have a brush & tooth paste at work for after lunch break. It's futile. I'm told I have a high concentration of some type of acid in my saliva. Nice. PLEASE take care of your teeth! I've had some nasty accidents in my life, but nothing comes close to the pain this situation has caused me.
