Pardon? seriously?
Unfortunately, yes.

Had an abcessed molar that went freaky. Basically, I have a cavity in the tooth that burrowed it's way into the root, out of the skull, causing a massive infection in the flesh over my cheek bone. Some of it actually got into my eye-socket & screwed up my vision for a while. I feel damn lucky that this part of it has been reversed.

Just had my first of three surgical procedures last week to remove some of the dead flesh. After it has healed for a about a month, I'll be having a repeat procedure. Stage three will be reconstruction. I'm also in the process of setting up oral surgery to have four teeth removed.

I do take care of my teeth - even have a brush & tooth paste at work for after lunch break. It's futile. I'm told I have a high concentration of some type of acid in my saliva. Nice.

PLEASE take care of your teeth! I've had some nasty accidents in my life, but nothing comes close to the pain this situation has caused me.

Jeebus looks pretty much like I thought he would. But then, I'd remembered how old he was from earlier mentions.

Speaking of age and looks, I was quite thrilled the other day when the gal at the coffee shop made an assumptive comment about me being younger than she was... and she's ten years younger than me.

Made my day! Or, she has a severe sight impairment and forgot her contacts that morning. Either way... yay!

Vilo...happens to us all...we were young long-haired hippies, and now we're middle-aged businessmen. Nothin' you can do 'cept roll with the flow. I used to be one, too...

Yeah, Jeebus, I thought you were gonna look like the "Big Lebowski" pic as well.

Ok, you asked for it. These are from a show I did before this band broke up because of unreliable people...

y'all have seen this one already, methinks:

And speaking of Jesus... er.. i mean, The Jeebus, it's funny how so many people have said "OMG You're a young d00d and you don't look like the guy in The Big Lebowski".

His posture and wisdom belies his age for sure!

I just got back some pictures today actually.... when i have a moment i'll try to scan them in. The above pic was about 1997 IIRC. About the 3rd or 4th time i had grown my hair all out.

It's interesting to put faces to names, though. Another one that blew me away was Cowbell. He's a young d00d too!

How about the Wewus? When do we get to see a pic of the WeeMaster?

Or Coaster? HTF is he doing, does anyone know?

Oh, BTW, Thanks Botch! I got that one, and a grey one similar to it for stage wear. They're good looking, and cool.

I loved your music!

Thanks, Mats. I was their backline roadie, and played second bass on a couple of numbers, also with The Slits, who we toured with as double-headliners, and shared a drummer(Bruce Smith).

In all my long years on the road with big acts and stadium gigs, the best ever gigs were doing the clubs of Holland, Belgium, and Germany with The Pop Group. Awesome band, and hugely influential.

Slits!

One of my all-time favorite bands. I only saw them live once, in West Berlin 1982 at the Tempodrom. Neneh Cherry was there too, was she a regular member at the time?

:D I never thought I looked like Ed Norton... but I can't argue with that. ;)

No offense taken, despite the light irony. (I'm Jewish.) What was that movie?

Okay, I finally uploaded a more recent pic to my server. Rather than post it twice, I just edited my original post on Page 4 .

Thanks guys and gals :)

I agree. I've been here for a pretty long time now, and never knew what half of these people looked like.

Now we have to get the notorious Wewus to post a pic!!!

I heard that he's 8 feet tall, with only one eye, and a hook where his hand oughta be.

Super 8

Hear my stuff here
