EscapeRocks
I was bored Saturday night, and felt the need to paint. For kicks, I decided on my old Ultimate Support Ax-48. Two coats. let dry for 30 minutesDuplicolor Metalcast Color Coat Anodized Deep Purple: one coat. let dry 4 hoursDuplicolor Clear coat: Its hard to get a good shot that shows it's more purple than red. I added the purple coat since the red was too bright (like what I put on my Vortex Wireless 2). I'll be spraying the legs in Rustoleum flat black Finally, My Red PX5S is once again disassembled. Insides are getting a good cleaning. Outside is being stripped of it's red paint, and will be getting new paint. Very dark. EscapeRocks
Thank you. I got the idea from the Ax-90 Missile Launcher they made in a few colors. My AX-90 is black, but will remain that way. Quote David Gig Rig:Depends on the day
elif
Powder coating is probably expensive, though the number of color selections and textures are numerous and appealing. I'd probably go with paint. You certainly shot a nice finish on it.
EscapeRocks
Thank you. Yeah, I only have various car parts powder coated. In most cases the powder coating is more expensive than the music gear I'm coloring Quote David Gig Rig:Depends on the day
