RoadHousePiano
I haven't had my E5D for too long but I've noticed that there seems to be a big difference in volume output between the various sections. The synth section seems to suffer the most from this when doing a split. This is after making the real time adjustments, ie PartMix knob etc. Anyone else having a similar issue? thanks Korg SV2, Nord Electro 5D, Gigperformer/lots of VSTs
DanL
Make sure the patch volume knob at the top right is turned up too. I've found that sometimes to get a good balance between the parts you have to turn something loud almost all the way down with the mix knob and then boost the patch volume up high. I have to do this for piano/organ splits, and have the piano at maybe 20% volume and then I can play the organ part without having to floor the expression pedal the whole time.
