Waves sampled CP80 now on special for $39.

But first take the Markeyboard test and ask yourself - Do you really need this?

Their demo is interesting... I'm only listening through my computer speakers, but it sounds like it's a CP80 layered with a Rhodes, which is an interesting sound, but seems like an odd way to feature the product.

Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)

Do you really need this?

Does anybody really need this? :/

All these years later, it's still a horrible sound

Well, it's no secret around here....

I heartily endorse horrible sounds. :freak:

As a Genesis fan, I need it! :)

I bought their Rhodes and Wurlitzer on a Black Friday sale that was too good to pass up. This CP 80 I'm going to pass up, but thanks for posting, Mark.

I picked it up. It sounds great but seems a little CPU heavy. I don't think you can go wrong for $39.

I really like the CP-70/80 sound.

I admit I do also, sometimes. I still own a CP 70 and it is set up to play, doesn't get played alot, however. I do like the action.

Excellent alternative EP when the Rhodes and Wurly's are becoming a bore.

This phenomenon has not yet happened to me.;)
