Husker Posted February 24, 2017 Author Share Posted February 24, 2017 I've done a ton of reading on these Midi interfaces, and I'm still not sure about several things (not many people have ever accused me of being bright). I think at some point I will just need to get one and figure it out. However, as a "cheap" way of controlling other modules outside of a DAW - would this work? https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MIDIthru4 I plug my FA into the "In" and other modules into the Thrus. I could then set each module to listen on different Midi channels. When I want to play a specific module, I just set the FA transmit channel to that specific module's channel. You should also make sure to check out their custom software programming tool. You can customize each Thru Port to specific commands.
