mauriziodececco
Hallo, i am looking around for a stereo delay pedal to be used with keyboard that can be used for old styles looping games; you know, raising the feedback to one to get infinite loops, and using the mix control to add stuff to the loop; then lowering the feedback to slowly fade out old material while including new one. As far as i know may be all pedals support this kind of stuff, but since the focus is now on dedicated loopers and loop mode on delay pedal, this kind of behaviour is no more documented on pedal manuals (at least, the one i read . Any idea ? Maurizio Nord Wave 2, Nord Electro 6D 61,, Rameau upright, Hammond Pro44H Melodica. Ed A.
This is exactly the way I work. I don't like most loopers that don't have feedback to allow for previous things to fade out while adding new stuff. Expert Sleepers Augustus Loop (not a pedal, but a plugin) can do delays up to 60 minutes and it has feedback to do looping that will fade out as new stuff is being added. http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/augustusloop.html
GovernorSilver
Might be overkill for the OP, but I'd like to build a small Eurorack modular system around this module: http://www.4mspedals.com/DLD/dld_proto_front21-420.jpg http://www.4mspedals.com/p.php?p=709 Two independent delay/loop channels, synchronized to a common time base Maximum 88 seconds per channel (almost 3 minutes total recording time) Digital feedback, up to 110% Delay Level control, independent of dry/wet signal mix Infinite Hold mode disables recording input and fixes regeneration at exactly 100% Reverse mode plays memory contents backwards With an infinite loop locked, knobs or CV can "window" around memory, by shifting the loop Triggered toggle inputs for Infinite Hold and Reverse Send and Return on each channel for feedback with external modules CV jacks to control Time, Level, and Feedback As new features are developed, firmware can be updated by playing an audio file into the DLD
zoooombiex
Is stereo a must? If you need stereo in/through that will definitely limit your options. Something you might consider is running the looper in parallel with your dry signal, so you can feed the looper a mono signal. You'll have a lot more options that way. Devnor
Pigtronix Infinity looper has a feature called loop aging which will fade out your old loops. There is a demo on their site. It's stereo and can sync to midi clock.
