chrismoog
Hi, I'm trying to get a regular m gear sustain pedal to work with the fa08 but it's not working via the system function - any ideas? Thanks
Sven Golly
1) What is "m gear"? Do you mean M-Audio? The SP-2? 2) What do you mean by "not working" - does it sustain when you DON'T touch the pedal, then stop when you do? 3) Help us help you; be as specific as possible, with as much detail as you can muster, when posting your issues. In spite of the rumours, our collective ability to read minds is not as strong as we'd like. So, if #1 and #2 are both correct assumptions, flip the little switch on the bottom of the pedal, and it should work just fine. Otherwise, details please. EscapeRocks
Chris, besides the setting in your FA-08, have you messed with the polarity switch on the pedal itself? Also, not to be obtuse: You have made sure it's plugged into the "hold" jack, and not one of the 2 control jacks? EDITED TO ADD: I type too slowly, Sven beat me to it David Gig Rig:Depends on the day

chrismoog
Hi - yes, unhelpful lack of detail from me duly noted. In fact, I just hadn't flipped the reverse switch in the system so it was holding when not pressed. Sorted now. Thanks for the advice all!
