You can get an app that makes your iOS device (the unit works with iPhones and iPod touch too) an alarm clock as well. I use the iHome for iReal b, as well as figuring out songs with Capo. It sits on my piano. It is also a convenient charging station, and its own battery lasts. "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible!
