MonksDream
I'm working the Vancouver International Jazz Festival and had the opportunity to see the Robert Glasper Trio last night. Great band!!! If you get the chance check them out. Instrumentation is meaningless - a song either stands on its own merit, or it requires bells and whistles to cover its lack of adequacy, much less quality. - kanker
Mark Zeger
Caught them a few months ago. Big fan of "In My Element" & "Double Booked". Looking forward to a new one.

Meisenhower
I saw him this past March at The Jazz Cafe in Detroit's Music Hall and the trio's performance was simply amazing (with Chris Dave on drums and Vicente Archer on bass)! I had the chance to rap with him after his 2st set and it was a joy to talk with him about music and life! He's a very cool musical brotha! He's a must see, to be sure!
