MoodyBluesKeys Posted September 28, 2010 Share Posted September 28, 2010 I'm running QL gold Pianos, NI B4, NI Pro 52, VST Host with VB3, and Hauptwerk on W7 64 with no problems; not sure if that answers your post. Emulator X had problems (some 16 bit code), the later free Proteus module runs, but any of the copy-protected libraries won't load becasue of lack of Macromedia support. Everything else runs with no problems. I still have my older Win XP DAW available (getting a new audio card to replace the one that I put in the 64 bit machine), and will likely keep it just for some of the older stuff. Did the usual things - set background to higher priority. The DAW does run connected to the network, so it does have A/V and so forth, but I don't use it for routine computer non-music use.
