zephonic
so my FanX7, controller keyboard and nearfields are in LA. My Eons are in Nairobi. And me, my puter, interface and headphones are in Holland. How the hell am I gonna get any work done? Living on three continents sucks... local: Korg Nautilus 61 AT | Yamaha MODX8 away: GigPerformer | 16" MBP M1 Max home: Kawai RX-2 | Korg D1 | Roland Fantom X7
Joe Muscara
Tough life. Of the three, I've only been to LA. Depending on the work you do, is there any way you can complete your setup in the other locations, like with a Privia or something like that? Or perhaps have one of those and haul it between? Bill H.
If you are truly living on three continents on an ongoing basis, if it were me I'd haul my favorite keyboard around but have a separate sound system in each location. Amplification is relatively cheap used. I do much the same thing (which in my existence is a much more low life blue collar way than globe trotting) when I set up different PA gear in two clubs I work steadily so I don't have to pack it around. ProfD
Z, it sounds like you need one of those $99 M-Audio MIDI controllers. PD "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return."--E. Ahbez "Nature Boy"
Bobadohshe
Z, it sounds like you need to let me use your fantom and monitors while you're gone.
