Perhaps an LA area Musicplayer event would be in order - if not on the night of one of the clinics, then perhaps on one of the evenings in between (assuming, of course, you'll be staying out here for those days). That could be some fun... :thu: dB
So... Craig has indicated in the thread from which above quotes were lifted that he will in fact be in town for the days in between the clinics. I'm thinking we definitely need to do a major hang/dinner thing. Who's in? Craig, given that you're the guest of honor and that you have some family obligations out here, I'm thinking that you need to tell us when your schedule would permit such a thing. If you can give us a few dates/times so we can try to accomodate as many folks as possible, that'd be great. dB

Get him Valky! ;) :D I'd love to attend... but at this point, I'd have to say it's a possible "maybe". It's going to depend on what day everyone decides on. The 26th is my wife's birthday, and I plan on taking her to the Sandcastle in Malibu for dinner, and maybe out of town for a couple of days. My birthday, and my mother's 60th birthday (I was born on her 19th B-day) are both on the 30th, so I suppose I'll be doing something that night - although we may wait until the following week. So anyway, I'd love to see everyone again (yes, you too Jeff - if you actually can manage to make it this time ;) ) but like I said, it depends on when.

I'd love to make it. Nothing planned at the moment, but I might have a gig in...let me look...Scottsdale, on the 29th throught the end of the week.

Seriously, what the f*ck with the candles? Where does this candle impulse come from, and in what other profession does it get expressed?

Cool - the 28th is actually better for me - 27th was a little unpredictable. It'd be great to see everyone!!!

So... Here's the list of parties who've expressed interest up to this point: dB Valky Weasel Phil O'Keefe Flyscots Daklander Steve Fortner GearMike PatAzz Ken/Eleven Shadows Steve LeBlanc Geoff Grace Kaptain Karl This is definitely shaping up be an entertaining evening! :thu: A far as food/venue goes...since the party is going to be so big, I suggest either Buca Di Beppo in Santa Monica (Italian), or maybe Todai in West LA (Japanese seafood and sushi buffet) - we did a forum dinner at the one in Vegas, and it was great! Either of these sound like good ideas? Anyone else want to toss in a suggestion? ...and we still need to know if 9/28 is good for the guest of honor... dB

<> At the moment I can't commit, but of all the possible dates, that would be best. I'm 90% sure I'll be able to participate, but the variable is when and where I can get doctor appointments for my daughter. I may need to be out of the LA area Sunday night if she has an early appointment on Monday. But as I said, I'm pretty sure Sunday will work, and no other date would work better. Looking forward to it!
