reidmc
Sounds like two instruments - a studio-manipulated acoustic piano arranged and mixed with a combo organ (a Vox maybe?) Reminded me how much I like that record. . . "The Doomer allows the player to do things beyond which are possible without the accessory."
mate stubb
Brian used a big theatre horseshoe console organ in the studio - not sure of the brand. Moe ---

Floyd Tatum
Well, Jazz+, if you're still interested, the liner notes for that track say "Tack piano: Al de Lory", and "Organ: Larry Knechtel". Reidmc, you heard right...
reidmc
I guess my ears aren't completely shot, though I may have missed the organ model, as according to Larry Knechtel's website, he "played Hammond B-3 organ on the Beach Boys' landmark Pet Sounds album." In my defense though, it sounds pretty bad. "The Doomer allows the player to do things beyond which are possible without the accessory."
