Name my band!

Recommended Posts

Speaking of names, didn't you used to be FunkSlapMama? Since you're now Nancyyy (and love the avatar, BTW), does that mean FunkSlapMama is now available as a band name?

Sure. Why not?

Didn't mean to confuse anyone. I think I'll go back to my original handle but keep the new avatar. How's that?

Yes, there is.

Since this not my band, I figured I could post this link here instead of the Plangent Memorial Sticky Thread. If I erred, I beg the forgiveness of our feared and all-knowing moderators.

Saw a poster for a band in Bernie's (Chester, NJ). The band is called "Not Enough Jeffs".

this is very funny for me at work, because the CIO, one of his direct reports, and three other managers are named Jeff. When the CIO came to power, the CEO was named Jeff (CEO has since been removed).

A band name which I liked was a local band called The Jenny Thing.

When asked what their name meant, they said, "We're in our late 20's. Every guy our age has had a Jenny thing at some time or other."

On my swim club, the most popular name for women between the ages of 30 and 40 is Jenny.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

I would chalk that up to the popularity of "Love Story" at the time of their births.

I missed the Nancyyy transition! When did that happen?
