Blues Disciple
Hey all, My friend has had a Hammond 125 XL organ donated to his ministry and is looking for some information about it. Best I could tell it was made in the 70's, is a transistor or solid state organ, and has a built in Leslie with rhythym machine too. No drawbars, no tonewheels. Value anywhere from 0-$200? anyone have any more specific information on this Hammond model? and what is "Note-a-chord"? mate stubb
Basically it's not worth anything. Those 30 year old transistor models can be had for free. Moe ---
rod76
Yet those models sold for a few thousand dollars when they were new. It's bewildering when you think about it.
Outkaster
Ywah and a ton of that gear was sold also. I see those all the time. "Danny, ci manchi a tutti. Richard Hastings
I used to sell those when they were new. They aren't worth anything now but were pretty good sounding and a good seller in their day. If I remember correctly, note-a-chord was a feature that would hold the keys down when you played a chord so you could see what chord you were playing. It was a dumb feature! I think there was a bass pedal feature tied into it that lit up above the pedals so you could see which pedal to play with the chord.
