BillWelcome Home Studios
Acoustic Music Resource helps too... they have books and instructional tapes and DVDs, by people like Lawrence Juber, etc. Bill "I believe that entertainment can aspire to be art, and can become art, but if you set out to make art you're an idiot." mdrs
Homespun Video has tons of instructional DVD's in every style you can imagine. The link below is for samples of a Chris Smither instructional DVD....Smither is a great fingerstylist, and his DVD shows teaching some of his tunes. There are tons of others. http://www.homespuntapes.com/staticsite/prodpg205.asp Don "There once was a note, Pure and Easy. (shameless plug) seriously, you cn check us out at www.batsonguitars.com Interesting designs. But I don't think you will get a good reception by making your first post on the forum, one of a spammy nature. What sort of fingerstyle are you looking at getting into Derrick? Zuben
Check out Chris Proctor's site. He is one of the finest finger pickers around and a great guy. He also is into introducing more players to this style. He has some instructional CDs out. He also does a lot of free workshops (thanks to Taylor) He is easy to approach and very helpful. I have had the pleasuse of joining him on stage for demos. http://www.chrisproctor.com/ http://www.spotcheckbilly.com http://www.littlefeat.net http://www.bonnieraitt.com
