King Kamehameha
Oh no! Hurt animals = not fun. I hope he's okay. musicalhair
Yeah, get him to a vet. I had a cat that had his hips crushed by a car, but the cat lived and got better and lived a few more years (the cat was getting old already when it happened). check out some comedy I've done: http://louhasspoken.tumblr.com/ My Unitarian Jihad Name: Brother Broadsword of Enlightened Compassion. Bejeeber
In case your family doesn't know about it yet, there's this Feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD) that can happen, especially to big male cats that eat dry food. Hey he'll probably be fine, but I think it's really important to get him checked for that because it's very bad if untreated, and it probably would cause him to groan and hiss when being picked up if he had it. Bluesape
He may need an X-ray. Your folks will take care of him. Don't worry. Never a DUH! moment! Well, almost never. OK, OK! Sometimes never!

Guitarzan
he is sleeping right now. we have pretty well figured out that the little "escape artist" jumped from Bens window (upstairs of a split entry). not a big deal if there is lawn right under the window. unfortunately our outside basement steps are directly under Bens window. Smokey is quite sore but coming around. today was good, he is back to pigging out and sleeping in his usual way ( on his back like he has been shot). our first thought was he had a reaction to his flea treatment. in another day he will probably return to his usual tricks of lurking in the shadows till someone opens a door. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will
