Junior 1
Well, I asked about the open or closed back option, thanks everyone, but I was wondering if anyone had an opinion about the optimum size for a 1x12 open back cab?
The Geoff
It actually depends on the model of speaker driver you put in there. Follow Bill's advice in the previous thread & get a good book on the subject. BillWelcome Home Studios
There is something called the 'free air resonance' of a speaker, and other esoteric stuff to deal with.... but the really easy way to cheat is to simply ask the speaker manufacturer. They generally have plans and they are usually happy to share. Bill "I believe that entertainment can aspire to be art, and can become art, but if you set out to make art you're an idiot."
