    Is KC access slow?

    iPad>Safari. Use AdBlocPlus.

    I get logged off like every other day for months and months now. Past few weeks, very slow getting to site - sometimes just won"t go.

     

    Today (around 9am to 11am CST) I got on KC okay, clicked on a post and display was changed ( I use UBBT77 dark). Backed out to main page and things were okay. Went in to another post - changed again! I was logged in to the main page, but logged out when I went to a different page. Never did that before.

     

    Got off the net and just now got back on - it opened to a page I was on last night, then went to KC by itself & I was logged out.

    I remember reading somebody"s rant a few months ago, about the overuse of that progression. I recalled learning a song for a wedding gig that used that progression in three different keys. It was prolly around 2012. I could not, for the life of me, recall the title or the artist . It bugged the crap outta me for a long time. Now I know.

     

    And yes - I thought it was some clever songwriting.

    I think she (H.E.R.) is great. If, for no other reason, to show our younger brothers and sisters what real musicians look and sound like. A 'band' is not a bunch of people that can dance together and almost sing. Nor can feel be synced up to a 'play' button. I do agree w/Reezekeys and others that I like to hear a little more developed songwriting and arranging. I hope she continues to grow in popularity and as a songwriter.

    Congrats, Alan & David!

     

    I got the book a few months ago and loved it. Actually, I unintentionally bought two and gave one to my son-in-law. He"s an architect and enjoyed reading about pipe organs and institutions that housed them. He was always fascinated by the mellotron (he"s musical, but not a keys player) and liked that chapter also.
