  1. were this to be true, in 1974 Germany it would have been hashish, most likely. Black variety, with white specks (opiated). Not that I know anything about this.
  2. I have been paying for quite a while. Started at about US $11 a month and now up to almost US $15 a month. At some point I'll reconsider if the price/ performance ratio no longer works for me. As for now, it does.
  3. IK Multimedia does not require an iLok. They use an easy peasy program called "IK Product Manager" that no one should have a problem with for installs of any of their software. Maybe you have it confused with another company. Or maybe you do require assistance. I'll be happy to help should you need so, just send me a PM
  4. who is this "them" that you are referring to?
  5. anyone who doesn't already own this, do it now
  6. I bought OB-8 as a crossgrade from G Force as I already owned OB-E and SEM, price was too good to pass up . I am good on Oberheim VST's now. As do I.
  7. He had it during his last USA trip. It's a big part of his show
  8. well folks, some of you asked for another Lachey Doley thread and so here you are. I have been corresponding with him via email for almost a decade, in fact I'm the one who told him about this forum when he asked me how I had heard of his music many years ago. Markyboard and I went and saw him the last time he was here in the USA, 5 or 6 years ago I'm guessing, I lose track of the years, the pandemic made it (keeping track of the years) worse. Can't wait to read the comments on this.
  9. just downloaded the demo myself, it lasts for 6 hours or 7 days, whichever comes first. I own everything else G Force makes, been a big fanboi for the last decade. I don't need this. At all. I won't pass on the price of the crossgrade they are giving me, however.
  10. I really like the way the SE-02 sounds, format is just way too small for me.
  11. Emulator is Jerry's bottom leyboard. Hohner Clavinet E7 is Bernie's bottom keyboard.
  12. that's a good looking "portable" piano. Hopefully will be available to try out soon
  13. I knew it wasn't the Bosendorfer, but my hearing isn't good enough anymore to tell if it was the Steinway or the Yamaha. I was guessing Yamaha, but that was it, only a guess. Yes, these are very large sample sets.
  14. I have not seen this data. Following up on your request, I looked at the website and purused the manual (for the first time ) of one of my favorite piano VST's. That would be Noire from Galaxy Instruments, a 9' Yamaha CFX that is 16GB. No mention of velocity layers at all in either location. Each piano in Pianoverse is 20GB. No one should be able to hear switching between layers at this level of detail, IMO, but I'll keep checking.
  15. the American League East has been turned upside down, one day after the death of "Mr. Oriole", Brooks Robinson This is for you, Brooks. RIP
  16. I was thinking similarly, myself. Do the monthly subscription for US $15 for a month or two and see what I like before I purchase anything, or not
  17. maybe. where did you lift these specs from?
  18. This is the sale price for each model posted on their website. Decisions will need to be made. Which one will be best for me?
