  1. I want to be able to play the CP too. Not just use it as a module. I have a km1880 stand with the 1881 second tier but the Reface is way to small to fit on the 2nd tier arms.
  2. I have had it for a few weeks. Haven't played With it too much. Not in love with the action. Hate the Leslie and CV is awful. I kinda like the acoustic piano. I've been using it as a lower manual for a NE5d. It's good for that. I usually end up using the Nord for piano. Even though it's midi to the Nord, I only use the 2x for piano if the song absolutely needs the extra octaves. I actually like the Nord action better. Just a personal opinion. Overall, with the little I've played with the Numa, it's ok. Not super impressed. Obviously, YMMV
  3. Does anyone know if the organ/Leslie sim is the same as in the Numa Organ 2?
  4. I think you could hear them throughout a classroom without too much of an issue. Also they are on the back of board facing your audience. Honestly, they are probably OK for a classroom.
  5. Mine came last night so not a lot of time to mess around but APs are fine with me. I like them. The organ is OK, but not as good as VB3 or Nord. The Leslie sim is dreadful imo. All that being said, I like it for a practice baord and it's absolutely perfect for a lower manual. The action is exactly what I was hoping for an more. A great lower manual and surprisingly good for piano. It's so light too!
  6. I'm going to be using it as a controller/lower manual for an electro 5d. I heard the b3 emulation was pretty good on this board though, no??
  7. Can anyone compare with the vent 2? On the demo videos, it seems to sound better but I've been fooled by demo videos before.
  8. Can this be used with a clonewheel somehow? Or just software emulators?
  9. On that same album, you're not blow away by the lucky ol sun or Dixie down solos? They are mad intense
  10. Anyone else play with this type of style? Almost everyone here and when I look up videos plays Hammond mostly jazzy with really fast runs and scales and cool riffs and all but Melvin's style is so incredibly soulful with BIG chords and smears and such. I feel like he just unleashes the power of the B and the Leslie.
  11. I'll have to upload some. I can't right now. Maybe tomorrow. He is a beast
  12. That video is sweet! Awesome close up. Thanks Scott And actually Melvin was who I was thinking of when I started that dual Leslie thread
  13. I'll jump in on this... "The Master of the Universe," as Garcia called him, was the reason I fell in love with the B3! He's also a great guy and really easy to talk to.. I've met him like 3 times. Care to share any of his riffs, drawbar settings, or any quick tips you use in your JGB band? Also, with all due respect, I think there are many, much better solos that do Melvin more justice with regard to how incredibly freakin intense and soulful he is. He makes the B, C (and even Nords) scream and sing simultaneously
  14. I'm sure it's an easy fix that the hx makers can implement. When I got an early Burn, the sk midi didn't work. Same issue. I emailed Guido and it was fixed in the first update.
  15. It has something to do with the Hammond sk buttons. I learned this screwing around with vb3. So even with Cantabile's Midi mapping it wouldn't work. Brad helped me out by doing an experimental version where I could set it up globally in Cantabile. But yeah the SK midi implementation is weird.
  16. Happened to me. I don't know why. I did factory reset. Fixed the problem, never to return
  17. Is that also the case with the EPs and clavs? Ex) I think one of the overdrive EPs has another affect that is adjustable by the Extra voice effect knob. So is the overdrive just built in to the sample?
