  1. Pulled the trigger on an HX3/drawbar Controller bundle. $1016.52 plus $8.64 in transfer fees.
  2. Don't use the quick default reply window, you have to hit the Reply button at the bottom of each post. That opens up the main Reply window with a row of icons across the top. One is for embedding vids and one is for embedding pics among others. Bob hmmm, I usually just go to the bottom and click (switch to full reply screen) when not quoting someone and need to add links and/or images. T they cut out the middle man? Don't forget that you have to pay US import duty and taxes if you order from Germany directly. Most likely these fees are not included in the Keyboard Partner export rates... Yea, I've been sorting it out including the exchange rates, but still a lot less expensive. T
  3. So here's my new incarnation for my MIDI set up, or at least how I think it should work. Don't hesitate to tell me whats wrong. Well apparently I can't post images or upload an attachment so I'll try a link
  4. I only need a good clone and not particular about having a multitude of them or a multitude of leslie emulations. The HX3 & drawbar controller bundle looks and sounds like it will fit my needs, but paying Diversi that much more plus shipping doesn't seem to fit my budget.
  5. Any disadvantage to getting it out of Germany
  6. Looking at prices for the HX3 Drawbar bundle, Keyboard Partner has it at 861.68 = $1059.75 which includes DHL shipping Diversi wants $1291 not including shipping. Anyone know why it's so much cheaper from Keyboard Partner?
  7. The HX3 module supplies power to the drawbar controller on pins 1,2 and 3. Pins 1 an 3 are normally not used for MIDI data. Pins 1 an 3 are +VDC pin 2 is shield ground or -VDC. The HX3 modules in/out port would be configured via jumpers as an out port, so both the drawbar controller and the module would be sending data to the MIDI interface input.Tom at Diversi sent my diagrams to Christian at Keyboard Partner From: KeyboardPartner Date: Friday, March 30, 2018 at 6:31 AM To: Administrator Subject: Re: FW: Jumpers on PL10 Hello Tom, this wiring should work. There's only one small mistake (which doesn't matter so much): Pin 2 of the MIDI Interface INPUT should not be wired to ground. According to MIDI Standard only outputs are wired to ground. Regards Christian So with Christians correction it comes out like this:
  8. Because that would be an extra piece of gear that would require someones attention to manage. I think My mix is the answer to what I think would fit individual or group needs. No centralized gear, every body connects their own my mix to an Enet to have access to everyone else, simple and easy
  9. All the monitoring systems I've looked at only have network to personnel mix systems. They all leave out the pre FOH interface that goes between the FOH feeds and FOH snake. the only thing I've seen that seems to make sense is this PreSonas At any rate it seems this could be done so much easier with every feed from each person going to their own net IO that connects either wired or wireless to a router so every one else can have access wich leads to the next question: AVB, DANTE, and ultranet are the few protocals that I've seen mentioned in my recent searches. would love to get some clarification on all this, seems the more I search the more complicated/ridiculous it gets.
  10. What about IEM mix systems, anyone using them.
  11. I'd like to retro a 1U blank panel, cut, drill and attach on those 4 allen screws (get longer screws and even tap further if needed).
  12. Does any body know or could any body make an educated guess weather the allen screws in the front corners of the HX3 Expander Modual would work for mounting points for rackmounting. The case looks extruded and there are no screws in the side to use.
  13. It ended up being $1200, he was selling the MOSS board for it as well, but since I'm running VI's, I didn't go for it. Maybe reinforce the end blocks with some fiber and resin or just class it up with a couple of wood blocks. Take some design and mill work though, seller said component or PCB is attached, so would have to fit in something to make it work
  14. Congratulations, its very hard to find one with good en blocks, mine cracked within the first month I'm thinking it might come from sitting them on the end block when leaning them against anything like a wall. The seller said he thinks it comes form dryness.
  15. Found a single owned Triton extreme 76 south of me. They've become too far and too few so I had to get it. To save on shipping we met half way so I took a 65 mile drive to pick it up. He gave me $100 off for not having to deal with packing. haven't hooked it up or played it yet, but it looks pristine, little to no blemishes and the end blocks look well intact. Also bought a shock case for my instrument PC, only $139 for an ECS 7506 that costs around $1500 new.
  16. Wouldn't be nice if you could pick up your B3 with one hand slide it in your rack and play it from your choice of board.
  17. I believe all the hard and/or soft needs and wants are available at this point in time. As far as keys are concerned, there are more than enough choices for 88 piano action boards. What I find rather ridiculous is there exist no 73 to 76 key unweighted controller that has all the capabilities needed for anything from an HX3 to a lead soft synth, complete with drawbars rotationals joystick ribbon ect., etc. Should also be self customizable as well to set up to ones long or short term needs. Probably not the proper thread for this thought but since the HX3 has become what it is now I felt I needed to reiterate this thought I have had for over a decade now.
  18. Ever been to Luna and check out the Ice Music
  19. the new HX3 module is what I've been waiting for. easy to keep the rig down to 2 boards, my es3 88 and a triton extreme 76 would suit my needs very well.
  20. Very nice piece, your voice reminds me of Dan Fogelberg.
