  1. Special Christmas gift for ITGITC, since I know how he loves Christmas songs. Also for gangsu, who I think asked for some Christmas music. A reharm of Winter Wonderland, special Plugiator version. Not tooo strange, I don't think... http://stashbox.org/335894/Winter%20WonderRhodes.mov Happy Holidays to all.
  2. Davin, thanks for joining the Reharm Club. Nice playing and recording. Nice voicings and a really good feeling in your playing. Good suggestion, Linwood. (folks, get your Reharm Room Lives t-shirts)

  4. Well thanks, Richard. Not a whole lot to it, but it was fun to fake guitar. I heard that song in the old movie "Black Orpheus" and remembered it. Joe Henderson did it too. I'd never seen a chart and didn't know what it was called. Piano4U kindly told me the name.
  5. Thanks, Sue. Shout out to "the masses!" Coming up: a little something for the more sheltered listeners.
  6. Thanks guys. I haven't been around to catch up on this thread. I checked a few tracks out... cool rendition of Darn That Dream, Dave, and nice playing and welcome to fallenethers. Beeboss, that was an inspired tribute to Zawinul.
  7. keywords: Lightweight, Pop, Samba http://www.divshare.com/download/5540401-100 Layered faux guitar/bass patches, FP4. Real time played, plus some triggered effects.
  8. Very nice bop playing there Richard, and the rhythm section was good too. I enjoyed that. Good to see folks posting here again. Sorry I missed "I Love You". Maybe I'll try a rendition of that sometime too.
  9. Nice rendition and good recording too Dave. Sounds great.
  10. Roger - thanks man! Good voicings in the intro and nice loose feel on the solo. You've got your own thing going on there. The BIAB rhythm section is pretty authentic, and you always work so well with tracks. Dave, I'm starting to wonder if it's a setting on your computer or in YouTube preferences that is the culprit. I had no problem with the link.
  11. I'm also pretty busy these days - headed out of town today. Thanks, Dave (welcome back) and Carlo. I look forward to any new stuff from you guys. Hope others will add some things too. In any event, it's been a great run. I posted the last two pieces (deleted one) so I'll defer now to anybody who has the time/interest to contribute the next. The give and take is what mainly interests me. Any new ideas may motivate me to try more too.
  12. Always liked that Ornette tune. Sounds good.
  13. Groaner. Puns intended... 1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent. 2. A jumper cable walks into a bar. The bartender says, 'I'll serve you, but don't start anything.' 3. Two peanuts walk into a bar, and one was a salted. 4. A dyslexic man walks into a bra. 5. A man walks into a bar with a slab of asphalt under his arm, and says: 'A beer please, and one for the road.' 6. Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other: 'Does this taste funny to you?' 7. 'Doc, I can't stop singing 'The Green, Green Grass of Home.' 'That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome.' 'Is it common?' Well, 'It's Not Unusual.' 8. Two cows are standing next to each other in a field. Daisy says to Dolly, 'I was artificially inseminated this morning.' 'I don't believe you,' says Dolly. 'It's true; no bull!' exclaims Daisy. 9. An invisible man marries an invisible woman. The kids were nothing to look at either. 10. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day, but I couldn't find any. 11. What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh. 12. Two fish swim into a concrete wall. The one turns to the other and says, 'Dam!' 13. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too. 14. A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel, and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office, and asked them to disperse. 'But why,' they asked, as they moved off. 'Because,' he said, 'I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer.'
  14. Ah, trouble maker, eh? No problem - the distortion was messin' with everyone. It was uncalled for, but hey...lol
  15. Well, not really. But for a one time only, extreme departure from a lush Rhodes sound - I just kinda felt like it. I think I've posted enough 'pretty stuff' for a while. Just realized I did the last two songs, so I'll take a break if someone wants to add something.
  16. For bones tonesin'... Trying a 700GX distorted Rhodes on a whim. The last chord is reharmful. (edit: Distorted 'Tones For Jones' Bones' removed. I've decided it was a little too 'out there' for public consumption.) Until other stuff is posted, my offerings are starting to get increasingly weird.
  17. Good. Back in business, eh? $10 in free gas to the next reharm.
  18. Good that you have them up on your myspace. No, what happened was divshare announced a couple months ago that they had problems and many files were lost. They've allegedly corrected it, but some of the ones that were lost have not been restored, and may not be.
  19. What a drag. Were they all divshare, Richard? I know divshare had a problem a while back and some files were lost. Most of mine weren't affected, as far as I know. Unfortunately, my first humble reharm is still there.
  20. Supposedly forever, or until something on the site screws up. I noticed some older links from this thread don't work now.
  21. The last one I posted opened for me just now. So I don't know, maybe try again in a few minutes.
  22. I just tried and the site works fine for me, Vic. They have had some problems recently since they changed the look of the site. Some of the tunes links have expired. Which one were you trying to download?
  23. Thanx NYKeys. I certainly could and should have played that tune a lot better, but it was brand new. I believe I did mute "the strings" with the soft pedal, or maybe I just played dynamically softer. Going OT now on this thread, I like this: Generally inspired playing throughout most of it and nice material to play over. Miguel Zenon on sax is burning. Sort of similar to my new tune, kind of "jazzical." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWlGw-sUxj4&feature=related It's good to actually listen to a little music too, with the music debates outside this room.
  24. Dave Horne and Leberwurst, thanks and glad you liked that. I'm thinking I might record this little tune with a trio. Sometimes it's the little, off the cuff ideas that work best.
  25. Thanks a lot, folks. Yeah, Dave and I were on the phone trying to mutually figure out the 700GX menu when I had just come up with this tune. Dave patiently waited while I ran through it, to make a mental note of it during the call. gangsu, I completely defer to your expertise on the harp. My experience with harp is limited to a sound patch button, where I pressed it and thought "OK, that's cool."
