  1. Mike Martin , I would like to know if you would be able to make some videos with the S 3000 recording it through the on board speakers or through a mixer and speakers so we can get a more accurate picture of what it would sound like in a live situation , it sounds great coming through a recorder . Thanks .
  2. I have the S3 also and mine looks nice with the white side caps ,as for piano sound I just got my nephew to download the Japanese Platinum Grand and I recorded Misty onto my Zoom camera if you haven't checked it out yet go to Mike Lupinetti on you tube . The Recording comes out really clean , there are 5 different Japanese pianos on the download ,I think the Live version would work in a band or the bright version . I really like the Japanese platinum piano . I played the first piano on the recording the normal one.
  3. Yes I agree their Rhodes and wurlies could use some help and looking forward to any improvements Dexibell makes to them ,I think they will listen if people go to their website and share their thoughts about sound improvement . I bought the S3 because it only weighs 22 lbs. and has nice sounding organic pianos on it and its easy to take to a friends to jam with , but I think they are really interested in making the keyboard sound as good as possible and that's a bonus .
  4. They have their new Platinum sounds Pianos on the website , and as soon as I can get my nephew over here to download them I'll be happy camper .
  5. How do you think it sounds through speakers , and what type of speakers where you playing through , I know it sounds good with headphones .
  6. I have the Vivo S3 and really enjoy playing it, at first I was having problems with the midrange sounding distorted when I played it, someone else was reporting the same problem with his S7 and he got rid of his but I thought I,d wait it out and hope they'd come out with an update which would solve the problem . The 4.01 update helped it out a lot. The distortion seemed to only come from the speakers , it sounds good on the headphones . The piano sound on the Vivo Grand is full and smooth and would be great playing solo or with a singer , in a band context I'm not sure how it would hold up to the guitar players , in a Jazz group it would sound great . I wish they would have a reprisenative from Dexibell come on the forums to discuss any issues buyers are having with there pianos. You can email them and they do answer their emails I would just like to know how other players are getting along and if or what problems they incur . I'm having fun playing mine .
  7. Jazzmammal ,I tried all of the electric piano patches on it but my favorites all seem to be in mono. I have the supernatural piano sounds that I installed and they come out sounding quite nice. Mike.
  8. Thanks Bob, I had the depth knobs to the reverb turned down, when I turned them up the sound came up with it. I have never had this happen with my other speakers so I was unaware of the solution, I normally keep the reverb down when I play.
  9. I have a question regarding different sounds on the ssv amp. I cannot get over half of my electric pianos to play on it , the sound is so low I can,t here them also with a lot of the other sounds on my 700 gx. The piano comes through nice and clear I was wondering if I have a defective unit or does everyone else experience the same problem?
