    Hmmmm...Don't wanna shoot myself in the foot here but wouldn't that CX3 make for a great VB3 or B4 controller as discussed in the earlier thread? That being said I'm probably less than an hour away from you by car. Few hundred bucks? I'll pm you soon.

    Shock and awe sir, shock and awe. I've been following this build very carefully and I am now inspired to re-embark on a "chop" that I did way back when there was no internet. I had to get schematics from the Library of Congress and I used the back side of 70's wood paneling to cover the sides of an old console that I bought back to life. The roller-karry's were the legs and the generators (this beast has two) were in their own cabinet. She's in my garage now, untouched for some 25 years. Thanks! Here I go again.

    Back in the day I inherited what must have been THE worst gigged Hammond C in existance. It was held up with 2x4s and some of the biggest nails I'd ever seen. Once I got it up and running, which was a labor of love, and since there was no internet I had to find the schematics at the Library of Congress, I proceeded with a chop that utilized a few 2x2s that braced a set of carry all's onto the bare chassis. It was a beast to haul around but sounded fantastic. She still lives in my basement but will never be gigged again.
