  1. ....and the option to choose between the PS filter or a nastier MS filter. 😎 dB
  2. Another classic behemoth from the Cherry Audio folks! Introductory pricing of $49. dB
  3. Way psyched to see the Gabriel show this week. We saw Sting at the Hollywood Bowl last night. Outstanding performances all around. Killer set list as well. dB
  4. I seem to recall that it has a metal chassis. 🤔 dB
  5. Big amp sim fan here. I have four hardware units. The one I use the most is probably the Strymon Iridium because of the WYSIWYG interface. That gets used mostly for live applications. For recording, I mainly use a Line 6 HX Stomp (basically half a Helix). Interface is a bit cryptic, so I tend to use it with computer editor. Besides those, I also have an older Line 6 POD XT (with FBV 3 pedal controller) and an even older Two Notes Torpedo pedal. That being said, I do love playing through my Vox AC15 and/or Princeton, and occasionally my little 8” Supro Blues King. dB
  6. I haven’t come across too many people who thought Commanders was the best choice. I still think Warriors was an excellent candidate. dB
  7. Ah. Y’see, I’m a serious hot pastrami fan.. It’s the sandwich I use to evaluate a good deli. Typically, cole slaw and Russian dressing are combined on a pastrami sandwich (with or without cheese); or, you can go for sauerkraut and melted swiss on grilled bread, aka a Reuben. Corned beef can be substituted with either of those preps. I do not add mustard to the first, but I do on the Reuben. I’ll happily eat either of those…but my first choice is a simple straight up hot pastrami with a couple slices of swiss cheese on fresh rye bread, typically sliced thicker (like in the pic)…or, if thin, chopped grilled pastrami with melted cheese on a long roll, like a cheesesteak. Both with brown mustard, please. dB
  8. I can think of a useful advantage to all text, no spoken word instructional vids. Multiple language versions are probably easier to create. dB
  9. Three teams (other than Philly) tried the Brotherly Shove this weekend…and failed miserably. Source. dB
  10. Are you a fan of Peg Leg Porker, brother Ken? I think their dry rub baby backs are pretty decent. dB
  11. Tell that to the folks who like their steak sandwiches without cheese. Maybe by you. To me, a cheesesteak is the delectable combination of shaved steak and melted cheese, even better with the addition of fried onions. That violates brother Bill5’s rule of no toppings…and yum, I love mixing mayo and BBQ sauce as a condiment. Oh, and I want to add peanut butter & celery to the list. dB
  12. Not if you live in New England. They actually say steak and cheese. 🙄 As a native Philadelphian, that drove me a little nuts…I mean, they don’t say burger and cheese… 🤔 Yum. Stop that. 😬😏 Do you have a place that makes a good one near you? Took me a while to find one in Cali…but then again, I make a pretty decent one. dB
  13. So, steak and cheese is not okay…but mac and cheese is? And how does steak and cheese differ from PB & J? dB
  14. The new Fleetwood Mac Rumours Live record, made from vault tapes. dB
  15. Did I mention that the Giants “offensive” line could use some improvement? dB
  16. …against the hapless, hopeless Giants and their poor excuse for an O-line… dB
  17. NY Giants just demonstrated what happens if you try the Brotherly Shove without a QB that can squat 600 lbs. 🤔😁 dB
