Chad Thorne
Getting married tonight at 6:00 p.m.! As my subject line indicates, this is a "subsequent marriage" for me, representing, as Dr. Johnson said, "the triumph of hope over experience". I don't do drugs or booze anymore, which is good. I remain the same ADD-afflicted, poorly-socially-skilled, moody musician type I've always been, which is problematic. I hope I don't screw this one up! Susanna is too fine a woman and deserves better than that. But I remain more optimistic than I have a right to be, and I'm very happy.

Chad Thorne
where are you taking her for a [honeymoon]? Since Susanna is in nursing school we only have this weekend for a honeymoon. We're going to the Common Ground Fair, http://mofga.org/, a yearly event we both love and never miss. After she graduates, though, we're going on a proper honeymoon to Scotland and Ireland. Should of [sic] got a puppy Darklava, between us we have seven dogs, so canine companionship, as wonderful as it is, was clearly not filling the bill... fantasticsound
A cat then?? Maybe a bird? Congratulations. Have a great time at the wedding and a fun weekend at the Fair. Scotland and Ireland... that will be wonderful. I really want to go with my wife. She hasn't been there since she was 19 (She and her best friend saved up and went.) and I've never been. Here's a toast! http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1260000/images/_1264205_toasty-300.jpg And the origin of the toast: http://www.improb.com/bookstore/posters/toast-big.gif It's easiest to find me on Facebook.
