K please help me out here, the song A little help from my friends, the Beatles wrote it, correct? Cause theres the song in the beggining of the wonder years, which i suppose is the same song "even tho the first line is different, do instead of think" but the rest is the same...so who wrote what?

They're the same song. What you're hearing is the Joe Cocker cover version that was used on "The Wonder Years"...a great version in its own right.

 

Paul McCartney penned it...(credits Lennon/McCartney)...and gave it to Ringo to sing. The original version is on "Sgt. Pepper".

Yup, it's the Beatles' tune, first released on Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and sung by Ringo.

 

The version which opens "The Wonder Years" is Joe Cocker.
