Cause theres the song in the beggining of the wonder years, which i suppose is the same song "even tho the first line is different, do instead of think" but the rest is the same...so who wrote what? What you're hearing is the Joe Cocker cover version that was used on "The Wonder Years"...a great version in its own right. Paul McCartney penned it...(credits Lennon/McCartney)...and gave it to Ringo to sing. The original version is on "Sgt. Pepper".
