elprimito
Is anyone using a laptop for playing live? I don'nt need to run a sequencer, just some vsti's. I have cubase sx running B4, FM7, and soon to purchase the CEP electric piano from Scarbee. I still need to buy an audio interface. I love the sounds from these vsti's but am concerned about the hassel of giging w/ a laptop. My keyboard is the S90, with a barbetta and a crate keyboard amp. Any thoughts? Also, which would be a good audio interface to buy? Thanks
yannis D
hi and welcome to the forum this thread has been discussed many times, do a search and you'll have plenty of info BTW, i play with a laptop+sound card+ various midi controllers live and i had no problems so far. B4, Minimoog, Lounge Lizard are some of my favs. I don't think you'll have any problem if you set your computer for music and also for music... Good luck Be grateful for what you've got - a Nord, a laptop and two hands
