Tom,

Yeah, man. At the night gig, I whipped off a good solo on "Southbound", copping a couple of Mr. Leavell's signature licks. I heard some people scream. My hands were shaking after that due to massive rush of adrenaline. It was just so friggin intense! Why do I play in a dopey bar cover band? THAT'S why! :)

Just about the time you start to wonder why you put up with the hassles of moving your gear, setting up, dealing with guitar players, spending time away from your family, a gig like that comes around, and you're reminded why you play. :D
