DanS
My "new" E-mu E4X Turbo just arrived in the mail, and I'm trading my JV90 for a Wavestation EX tonight. Sold a Microverb, a Quadraverb, and a Micro-piano this week. Now that's serious GAS vapor! What we record in life, echoes in eternity. RABid
Ahhhhhhh, the sweet smell of gas. I've spent my lunch time, plus a little, reading everything I can and trying to decide which keyboard to pick up tomorrow. I also need to throw a buch of stuff up on ebay. Finale
You'll see that the Korg Wavestation is a programming beast. Many parameters and excellent overall possibilities.

DanS
Just got the EX home. Sounds really smooth. It was kind of weird exchanging keys like we did. "So, we're good?" "Yeah" "Ok, see ya!" Anyone know of some nice tutorial sites to get me up & running? Oh wait, gotta go sit with the E4X for a bit.. 2 new systems to learn en parallel. What was I thinking? kanker.
2 Good Fridays in a row? Is this some sort of Christian daylight saving type thing I wasn't informed of? A ROMpler is just a polyphonic turntable.

DanS
I noticed the Rom, Ram1 & Ram2 performances are all the same. So I guess I have to do the factory reset on this sucker. I downloaded the "factory" & "factory3" sysex patches from Dan Philip's site. I will use Midi Ox to load them up. Is there anything I should be aware of before attempting this reset? Thanks. If needed, pay tickets for the whole family so they can go see their new favorite movie at the theater. Because you'll want to experiment with the beast. DanS
Yes sir. I've been in & out of my studio all day... Dan Philips has a lot of nice sysex patches on his site! I have no regrets dumping the JV90 for this gem. The only issue is I think one of the previous owners used to eat KFC, and then used the keybed for a napkin...
