The first one looked clean to me, but I thought the second was a very clear foul...but then again, I'm not an NBA official.

Really fun game to watch, though... :thu:

If the Lakers do end up advancing, they'll get to play a team that doesn't have three of its key players injured (two of whom aren't even playing).

That should be entertaining. ;)

You thought wrong... watch the replays on ESPN tonight. Totally clean, both of them.

Huge props to Smush... no way would Kobe have had the chance to make either shot with Smush's efforts. :thu:

You mean without, of course... ;)

You are no doubt correct, though. His last trey was huge.

Indeed, good sir.

Not to mention the steal from Nash. Man, that kid has REALLY stepped up. I love when people do that in the playoffs. In the same light, Diaw had a great game for the Suns.

That's it, keep selling them short.

But you'll keep having to come up with new excuses each time they win when you thought they wouldn't.

I don't remember you offering up such excuses before the series started.

Why not? You would be if they were losing.

I don't ever remember you admitting the Lakers got beat fair and square by anybody.... ;)

Heck, if what happened to Nash at the end of OT had happened to Kobe, you'd be screaming about the call...and you know it. :P

Well, a "no call" happened against the Lakers at the end of game one...

I would love to... but I'm in San Bernadino Tuesday (last week of Logic clinics).

It'll have to be in the next round for me.

Lakers/Clippers/Yankee Doodles ???

Hmmm. "Of course"? We'll see about that. For now, I knitted you a little collage from today. I hope you like it.

Y'know...those guys sitting on the bench because they're injured. Surely you remember Mr. Stoudemire...

Maybe you'd be singing a different song if he'd been playing. ;)
