Any opinions out there..... ease of use, how cpu draining, conversion of sample librarys, how stable, etc? I will be using it in Protools. Thanks! Red Winger Posted October 11, 2005 Share Posted October 11, 2005 Well, you really need input from someone who's used both, which I haven't. K2 is great, though. The script processor is extremely powerful. I've barely scratched the surface of it's potential, I think. A bit CPU-hungry, but I have a dual 2.5 G5, so it's not as big a deal overall for me. Reads just about any format, and generally converts very well. I have yet to experience a crash with it. I've seen reports of others having more problems, but, for me, it's been rock-solid in Logic 7.1. I used to use EXS24 all the time (still do some), but find I turn to K2 more often now. -Mark "I don't know anything about music.
